The core values of [Taipei Design City Competition] project is to launch citizens think about “social design” concepts. We used Taiwanese traditional slant roof and the common wall, shaped the city’s skyline and private backyard space, but the sheer sense of penetrating both organisations as a continuous extension of the space, shaping the spatial depth, also introduced the urban landscape in the hierarchy. Solid and void material common fabric, making the space rhythm between exhibition venues not be camouflaged, also provides the visitor rest and interact place.
